Phelps - Fannie Chrisman

Fannie, wife of Jason Phelps, died last Saturday morning at her home in this vicinity. She was the daughter of George Chrisman and was married to Jason Phelps in 1892. She united with the Christian Church at Darlington about five years ago and had been a consistent member ever since. She was a loving wife and a true friend and found friends wherever she went.
She leaves a husband, an aged father, Uncle George Chrisman, a sister, Mrs. Charley Weliver, of Darlington, and a brother, Wm Chrisman, of Crawfordsville, besides other relatives and friend to mourn her loss. The funeral was preached at the Christian Church at Darlington Sunday afternoon. Interment was at the Odd Fellows’ Cemetery, west of town. -s

Mrs. Jason Phelps, aged thirty eight years, died at noon Saturday at the family home west of Darlington. Her twin babies born on Thursday died on Friday. Mother and children were buried on Sunday in one coffin at the I. O. O. F. Cemetery at Darlington. Mrs. Phelps leaves a husband to whom she was married twenty years ago. The only children born to them were the twins whose death so shortly preceded that of their mother.
