Carl and Hulda Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bazzani called at the Servies Funeral Home at Waynetown Friday evening to pay respect to the family of Mrs. Bernice Proctor, who died in Florida Monday. Mrs. Proctor was a cousin of Mr. Smith. She was born in Waveland.

Mrs. Bernice Proctor, 54, formerly of Lafayette and Crawfordsville died in a hospital at Merrit Island, Fla Monday afternoon after a long illness. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L.O. Thompson, 1914 State Street, Lafayette and moved from Crawfordsville to Florida with her husband, James Proctor, two months ago. She was born at Waveland. Surviving with her husband and parents are a son, Marion Fish of Muncie; a daughter, Mrs. Beverly O’Donnell of St. Louis; three stepdaughters, including Mrs. Ann Morgan of Crawfordsville; a brother, Walter Dailey of Indianapolis and five sisters, Mrs. Rosalie Smith of Greenfield, Mrs. Hester Klinker of Lafayette Rt 4, Mrs. Ethel M. Wilson, Mrs. Ruby Bart and Mrs. Dolores Cavanaugh all of Lafayette. The body will be sent to Waynetown.
