Emily, daughter of Robert and Elizabeth PRATHER FRISBY, was born at Menafee Co, Ky, Dec. 24, 1856, departedt his life, Tues Feb 22, 1944. She was marr. to James POWERS on Sept. 15 1874 at Frenchburg, KY. They resided in Ky until 1900, then moved to Ladoga, In. To this union was born 3 sons, Turner of New Market; Howard of New Ross; Alvin of Ladoga; four daughters, Lizzie STULL; Myrtle LONG; Beatrice TRUMP of Ladoga and Ella Long of Lansing, MI. She was a member of the Ladoga Christian Church. She leaves to mourn her passing, besides the children, 31 grandchildren, six of which are serving in the armed forces, 3 of whom are overseas; 30 great grandchildren; one step great grandson who is with the armed forces overseas; a sister, Mary Ellen DAVIS of Mt. Sterling, Ky and sev. nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are the husband, five brothers, five sisters, two grandchildren, two great grandchildren. = typed by kbz
