Virginia L. Pierce, 22, of 708 North Drive, a 1972 graduate of Crawfordsville High School and employe of Wilson Brothers Greenhouse, died Saturday in Culver Hospital. While in high school, Miss Pierce was active in several school events and was an honor student. She was born here July 5, 1954, a daughter of John William and Ruth Madeline Cook Pierce. Surviving are her parents; two sisters, Mrs. Steve (Rebecca) Zachary of Crawfordsville and Marsha at home; two brothers, William Edward of Waynetown and Joseph Ray of Crawfordsville; and her paternal grandmother, Gertrude Pierce of Waynetown. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather and her maternal grandparents. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Burkhart Funeral Home here with the Rev. Jack Swank officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. – jlr
