Pettit - Susan Stake

Mrs. Susan Pettit died yesterday morning, at an early hour, at the home of her sister, Mrs. Thos. Apple, on east Franklin street. The deceased was 33 years of age and has been a patient sufferer for some time with consumption and finally succumbed to the grim destroyer. Services will be conducted this morning at 9 o'clock by Rev. T. D. Fyffe at the residence. Interment at Mt. Pisgah cemetery. -- transcribed by Kim H
