New Ross, May 10 – Mrs. Lydia Catherine Jones Petticord, 69, formerly of New Ross, died Sunday morning at her home in Indianapolis after an illness of five years. She was the widow of John Petticord, who died four years ago. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Laura Wall of New Ross and Alice Harris of near Ladoga, and two brothers, Charles E. Jones and W.D. Jones of New Ross. Burial will take place at Crown Hill cemetery in Indianapolis on Tuesday at 2 o’clock in the afternoon.- kbz
