Petro - Wesley
Source: Crawfordsville Weekly Journal Friday, 15 March 1895
‘Tis said death loved a shining mark. This was truly exemplified on the morning of the 5th of March, when the angel of death entered the happy home of L. W. and Maggie Petro, and took their dear little boy.
Little Wesley was an exception of a bright little fellow. He was just entering the sphere of life when most interesting and entertaining to his parents and little associates in life. But alas, the little prattling voice is stilled in death, the chair is vacant at the table. O, how sad and lonely this once happy home. But while it is impossible for little Wesley to return to comfort those bereaved parents, we rejoice to know that they can and no doubt will meet him in the far away home of the soul, some sweet day, some sweet day.- thanks so much to “S” for all her typing
