William B. PETERSON 70 formerly a well known resident of the Mace neighborhood, died Wed eening at his home in Indianapolis. He had been in declining health for th epast few weeks. Mr. Peterson was born near Mace, the son of pioneer parents of the community. He parents were Isaac and Mollie Peterson. As a young man Mr. Peterson attended medical college. For a number of years he practiced medicine with his uncle, Dr. Johnson of Lizton. He gave up the practice of medicine nearly 30 years ago to form the Peterson & Keys Automobile Agency in Indianapolis where they handled Packers automobiles. Since WWII Mr. Peterson had been employed at Allisons Division of General Motors in Indianapolis. Mr. Peterson was a member of the old Union Chapel Presbytieran Church at Mace. Mrs. Peterson was the former Augusta Hartung of Mace. The widow survives, together with their son, William B. Peterson, Jr. who also lives in Indianapolis. Another son died in infnacy. Mr. Peterson's home in Indy was at 3511 Birthwood Ave. A brother, Dr. Bert peterson Indianapolis, dentist and a sister, Mrs. Bertha peterson Neier of Irvington survive. Funeral services will be conducted at Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Home, Indianapolis at 2 o'clok Friday afternoon
