Vecia V. Peterson, 95, of 816 W. Main St., died today in her home. Mrs. Peterson owned and operated the Women's Wear Shop here for many years. She was a member of the Christian Church, Daughters of American Revolution and Daughters of American Colonists. Born March 19, 1883, in Tippecanoe County, she was a daughter of Alonzo and Anna E. Bryant Rackstraw. She married Hugh Peterson on Sept. 14, 1904, in Montgomery County. He is deceased. Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Samuel W. (Mildred) Kerr of Crawfordsville. A daughter and a sister are deceased. Private services will be conducted Sunday with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. There will be no calling hours at the Burkhart Funeral Home.
