Taylor Peterson, aged 59 years, passed away at 5:00 yesterday afternoon at the Soldiers' home, a complication of diseases being the cause. He was born in Montgomery County, October 14th, 1846, and was admitted to the home from Vigo County, February 8th, 1899. He served during the latter part of the Civil War as a member of Co. G 135th Indiana Infantry. Mr. Peterson at one time was a well-known attorney at law and practice for some time at Lebanon and Indianapolis. He was a man of ability and was greatly beloved by his fellow veterans at the home. The funeral will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 and the body will be entered in the home cemetery. – thanks to Lena
