Mrs. Silas Peterson died at her home near Darlington Friday May 6; was buried at the family graveyard nearby Sunday after services at the home conducted by Rev. Mr. Schultz. Mrs. Peterson was married 54 years ago. The husband, two sons and two daughters survive her. One of the daughters is Mrs. George Seybold, formerly of this place. She was a member of the Darlington Christian Church at its organization. Her health has been poor for the past two years and at times she suffered greatly but was ever cheerful. Her children and near relatives were near her during the last weeks sickness. - kbz

Crawfordsville, May6 – Mrs. Lorinda Peterson, wife of Silas Peterson died today after a sickness of about two years. She was 74 years old. Her husband and four children survive. - kz
