New Market Feb 9 -- Funeral services were held Wed morning at 11 o'clock at the Christian church for Mrs. Nannie L. (note from kbz - this was my sweet stepmother's mother and Nancy's middle name was Elizabeth) Peters who died early Monday morning at her home here following an attack of pneumonia and complications. Rev. John Servies, of near Crawfordsville officiated at the service. Mrs. Kenneth Gentry, Mrs. Maurine Armstrong, Albert J. Armantrout and JW Vancleave sang, "Meet Me There" "A City Four Square" and "Have Thine Own Way." Mrs. Chloe Wray accompanied at the piano. Pallbearers were Leroy Harwood, Willie Burgess, Cecil Steele, Robert Jeffries and Forest Simpson. Flower bearers were Doris Jeffries, Dorothy Harwood, Ruby Simpson, Dorothy Foster and Autumn Record. Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery at Crawfordsville. - typed by kbz
