Mrs. Stella A. Peterman, 66, of 412 Fairlane Drive, died at 8:22 p.m. Thursday in Culver Hospital. Mrs. Peterman was born May 14, 1903, in Indianapolis, the daughter of Edward and Anna Riley Howe. She married William Peterman July 19, 1919. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Louise. Surviving are seven daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Lichtenwalter of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Sue Harlan of Waveland, Mrs. Marilyn Sherrill of Montezuma, Mrs. Betty Bolk of Highland, Ind., Mrs. Helen Woods of Lansing, Ill., Mrs. Katherine Waldon of New Orleans, La., and Mrs. Dorothy Berry of Van Nuys, Calif.; seven sons, Bill Peterman and John Peterman, both of Crawfordsville, Terry Peterman and Bob Peterman, both of Rockville, Jim Peterman of Munster, Ind., Melvin Peterman of Hammond, Ind. and Tom Peterman of Kansas City, Mo. ; 37 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother, Neal Howe of Indianapolis, and a stepbrother, Alvin Allison of Desert Hot Springs, Calif. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Hunt & Son Funeral Home here. Rev. Robert Stevens will officiate. Burial will be in the Mace K of P Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Saturday.
