John Leo Peterman, 71, a former resident of Crawfordsville died Wednesday at a hospital at Venice Florida. The son of Theodore and Laura Decker Peterman, he was born March 20, 1899, in Montgomery County. He was married Feb 21, 1919 to Nellie Hess who survives. He had been employed at RR Donnelley & Sons Co for 20 years and was a member of Montgomery Lodge No 50, F&AM. Surviving in addition to the widow are 3 sons, Robert E. and Thomas L, both of Crawfordsville and Richard of Waynetown; one daughter, Mrs. Marry Sutton of Indianapolis; 11 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Noble Carothers officiating and burial in Mace K of P Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Saturday.
