Perkins -Mary Lula Eggers

ROACHDALE – Lula Perkins, 84, died Tuesday in Putnam County Hospital at Greencastle. She was born Dec. 28, 1890, in Indiana, the daughter of Riley and Sarah Ann Edwards Eggers. Survivors include six sons, Kenneth and Walter Dewane of Danville, Clyde, John and James of Roachdale and Donald of Linden and three daughters, Mrs. Ed Norton of Crawfordsville, and Dorothy Byrd and Juanita Long of Roachdale. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ottie. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Perkins Funeral Home here with burial in Roachdale Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today. – jlr
