CLARKS HILL -- Miss Edith Perkins, 55, died at 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the home of a brother, Donald Perkins, Rt. 1, Clarks Hill. She had been in failing health the past three months. Miss Perkins had made her home with her brother about six weeks. Prior to that she resided in Miami, Fla. 10 years. Before going to Miami she had lived in Indianapolis and Cawfordsville. Survivors include the brother with whom she made her home and another brother, Robert of Rt. 1, Clarks Hill; five sisters, Mrs. Gladys Paul of Neosho, Mo., Mrs. Louis Dukes of Indianapolis, Mrs. Pearl Ryker of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Mary Davis of Cleveland and Mrs. Evelyn Mahoy of Clarks Hill; and her mother, Mrs. Malissa Perkins of Clarks Hill. The body was taken to the Dickerson Funeral Home at Stockwell where funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. Norman Weaver officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery at Clarks Hill. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Monday
