Mrs. Elizabeth Webb Penn, the mother of John Penn, died at her home near Southport, So. of Indianapolis, on Monday after a protracted illness. Mrs. Penn was 99 in November. She was the widow of Joseph Penn and before moving to Southport, they lived near Browns Valley. Mr. Penn died about 20 years ago. Miss Grace went over to the funeral. The funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth Penn was held at the home near Southport last Thursday afternoon, Rev. Allen Philpott of the First Christian Church of Indianapolis officiated. Burial was in Crown Hill Cemetery. She leaves five children, 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. - typed by: kbz
