KINGMAN – Roland "Ollie" Pender, 72, a retired farmer, died Tuesday morning in his home at Kingman. He was a member of the Kingman Christian Church and Kingman Lodge 314, F & AM. Mr. Pender was born Jan. 18, 1900, a son of Bruce and Ada Thompson Pender. On Feb. 8, 1922, he was married to Bessie Fox, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Kehrer of Indianapolis; a son, Rev. Hugh Pender, a missionary in Rhodesia; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Woodrow Funeral Home at Kingman, with Rev. Larry McMillen officiating. Burial will be in Bloomingdale Cemetery. Friends may call between 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friday.   ---- typed by CA.
