Pefley - Joseph
Word has been received of the death of Joseph Pefley, which occurred October 20, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Etta Bettisworth of near Coffeeville, Kansas. Mr. Pefley was well known in Liberty township, as he had spent practically all his life in or near Lfontaine, later residing near Wabash. Tom Pefley, of Dora is a brother and Mrs. Claude White of Lagro is granddaughter of the deceased. Funeral services were held in Coffeeville yesterday. The body of Mr. Pefley was brought here this afternoon and taken to the home of Clifford Dale, west Pike street.
