Pefley - Homer Udene

Homer Udene Pefley, 48, 80 N. Miami St., died in his home at 11:30 a.m. yesterday after an eight-month illness. A life-long resident of Wabash County, Pefley was born Sept 27, 1928, to Homer H. and Flossie Lewis Pefley. On March 27, 1948, he married Amagene Fogel, who survives with his mother, Mrs. Flossie Pefley, 56 E. Main St.; three sons, John Michael, Mark and Karl Nicholas Pefley, all at home; three brothers, Harvey E. Pefley, Kokomo; Albert H. Pefley, Lagro, and a sister, Mrs. James (Bonnie) Ramey, LaFontaine. Pefley was a member of the Dora Christian Church. Friends may call at the Eddingfield-Gerber Mortuary after 2 p.m. Sunday. Services at the Mortuary chapel will be 2 p.m. Monday, with Rev. Tom Smith officiating. Burial will be in Center Grove Cemetery. –April 16, 1977 Pallbearers were Paul Fogel, John Gillespie, Robert Cochran, Ben Schoby, Harvey Watkins and Duane Lewis.
