Pefley - Helen Squires
Mrs. Helen Pauline Pefley of St. Petersburg, Florida, formerly of Parke County, age 73, died Wednesday morning, December 19, in Metropolitan Hospital at St. Petersburg. She was the widow of Ray Pefley, who died November 28, 1978. Born in Vermillion County, October 3, 1906, she was the daughter of Henry and Iva Johnson Squires. Mrs. Pefley was a member of Rockville Christian Church. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Alice Siegelin of Rockville and Mrs. Flora Wood of Brazil; two nieces and two nephews. Graveside services were held Friday morning with Rev. James O. Trousdale officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery. --
