Pefley - Flossie Lewis
Flossie Irene Pefley, 70, 56 E. Main St., died at 9:20 a.m. yesterday in Wabash County Hospital. She was born in Wabash County Dec. 9, 1907, to Lawrence and Ruth (Sills) Lewis, both deceased. She was married March 29, 1928, in Lagro to Homer Pefley who died July 31, 1971. Surviving are three sons, Robert, Lagro; Harvey, Kokomo; and Albert, Centerville, Iowa; a daughter, Mrs. James Ramey, LaFontaine; two sisters, Mrs. Albert Kline, Wabash, and Mrs. Sherman Pefley, Marion; five brothers, Daniel Lewis, Lagro; Eldon Lewis, Huntington; Lawrence Lewis Jr., Wabash; Alvin Lewis, Columbus. Also, 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Dora Christian Church, Lincolnville home economics club and the Wabash Senior Citizens. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Eddingfield Mortuary. The Rev. Tom Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Center Grove Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
