Ladoga --- Ella E. Pefley, 87, Ladoga, died at 6:20 p.m. Tuesday at Ladoga Health Care Center. She formerly owned and operated the Rosedale Tavern, Rosedale; the Coxville Tavern, Coxville; and the Raney Motel, Rockville. She was a member of the Rockville American Legion Auxiliary. She was born April 26, 1912, in Parke County to Frank and Myrtle Homes Overpeck. Survivors include a son, Roderick J. Hensley, Ladoga; a daughter, Connie Brock, Somerset, Ky.; a sister, Flora Buckle, St. Clair Shores, Mich.; and two grandchildren. Three brothers and two sisters are deceased. Graveside services are scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Friday at Rosedale Cemetery, Rosedale. Friends may call 9-11 a.m. at Barnes Mortuary, 111 E.
