ROCKVILLE - Dorothy Pefley (sic), 80, died at 4:05 a.m. Tuesday in Castle Shannon Nursing Home at Rockville. She had resided at 1416 Blackmill Road, and was a former resident of Bridgeton. Mrs. Pefley was born in Parke County on July 12, 1903, to James and Ida Bramblett Walters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Pefley (sic) in 1976. She is survived by a son, Robert Carpenter of Brazil; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in the Barnes Mortuary at Rockville, with the Rev. Jack Hopk9ns officiating. Interment will be in Clear Run Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 4-8 p.m. Wednesday. --
