Pefley - Amagene Fogel
Amagene Pefley, 54, Fort Myers, Fla., died at 6 p.m. Thursday at Wabash Healthcare Center. She had been ill for six months. She was born Aug. 13, 1932, in Centralia, Ill., to Amasa Paul and Pauline M. (Prickett) Fogel. She married Homer Pefley on March 27, 1947, in Andrews. He died in 1976. A self-employed seamstress, she lived in Wabash 30 years and Fort Myers six years. She attended the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. Surviving are her mother; three sons, Mark R. Pefley D.D.S., Fort Walton Beach, Fla., John M. “Mike” Pefley, Marion, and Karl Pefley, Fort Myers, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. Lloyd (Lorna) Mason and Mrs. John (Floranna) Gillespie, both of Wabash, and Mrs. David (Rhonda) Vanderpool, Warsaw; and one brother, Paul H. Fogel, R.R. 5. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Eddingfield Mortuary. The Rev. David Ashley will officiate. Burial will be in Center Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary. --Date of death: Nov. 6, 1986.
