Pefley - Albert D
Albert D. Pefley, 97, 56 E. Main St., who had been ill three weeks, died at 11:40 p.m. Monday in the Pleasant View Nursing Home. The decedent was born in Wabash County, Jan. 12, 1867, the son of Thomas J. and Ruth Ann (Duffey) Pefley. He was married in 1897 in Plymouth to Sarah M. Peeples, who died in May of 1932. Mr. Pefley was a retired farmer and lifetime resident of the county. He had lived in Wabash for 13 years. Mr. Pefley was a member of the Dora Christian Church. Survivors include two sons, Homer, Lagro R. R. 1, and Sherman, Marion, one daughter, Miss Myra C. Pefley, Logansport, seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A son, Judge Lowell Pefley, one brother and one sister preceded him in death. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Eddingfield Mortuary with the Rev. Glenn Wagoner officiating. Burial will be in Center Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Tuesday. -
