Peffley - Roscoe

Funeral rites for Roscoe C. Peffley, 77, of Lafayette, formerly of this city, are set for 11:30 p.m. p.m. Tuesday at the First Christian Church there. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery here. Mr. Peffley was in the auto sales business in Lafayette from 1935 until his retirement in 1960. He died Saturday. He was married in 1919 in Crawfordsville to Lavina Busenbark, who survives with a son. Mr. Peffley a World War I veteran, was a member and a deacon of the First Christian Church in Lafayette and also belonged to the Masonic Lodge, Veterans of Foreign Wars and World War Veterans organizations.
