Peffley - Morris
Morris G. Peffley, 89, formerly of 436 S. West End Ave., died Monday at the Mennonite Home after a long illness. He retired in 1975 from Agway, where he was a mechanic. He enjoyed hunting and playing musical instruments. Born in Paradise Township, he was the son of the late George W. and Ora Stauffer Peffley. His wife, S. Elizabeth Baker Peffley, died in 1986. Surviving are three sons, John B., husband of Liz Peffley of Whispering Pines, N.C., Robert L., husband of Gloria Peffley of Millersburg, and Joe D., husband of Judi Peffley of Lancaster; two daughters, Shirley A., wife of Donald Stauffer of Denver, and Joanne D., wife of Allen Mellinger of Ronks; 17 grandchildren; and 29 great- grandchildren. A son, George M., preceded him in death. --
