Funeral Services Sunday Ladoga, June 6 Death came on Friday night to Mrs. Lucinda Peffley, age 94, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Albert Hurt. Mrs. Peffley was one of the very highly respected citizens of this community and has resided within three miles of Ladoga since she was five years old. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Rose and was born in Union County on August 5, 1830. she was united in marriage 71 years ago to Circle Peffley who preceded his wife in death twelve years ago. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Julia Love and Mrs. Albert Hurt of Ladoga. For the past fifty-five years Mrs. Peffley has been an active member of the Methodist Church and as long as her health permitted attended all services and social gatherings connected with the Church. Funeral services will be held from the home on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock and will be conducted by the pastor, Rev. Barrett. Burial will take place at the Stoner Cemetery.
