Hazel Peffley Dec. 14, 1934 - Nov. 27, 1998
Hazel Peffley, 63, died at 5:07 a.m. Friday in her Crawfordsville home. Mrs. Peffley was a 32 year employee of Raybestos. She attended Baptist churches. She was a member of the Moose, Eagles, and American Legion auxiliaries. She was born Dec. 14, 1934 in Indiana to Lawrence and Emily Nikam McGee Jr. She was educated in Washington, Ind. She married Russell Peffley on Jan. 26, 1963. Surviving are a brother, Robert K. McGee of Kinden, and two sisters, Mildred Hamm of Bloomington and Ruth Keyes of Franklin, Tenn. Two sisters, Susan Thompson and Emma Jean McGee are deceased. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday in Burkhart Funeral Home, 300 S. Grant Ave., with the Rev. Wayne Manage officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery North. Friends may call at the funeral home 4-8 p.m. Sunday. --
