Peffley - Charles Francis

Charles F. Peffley, 61 ,of 1712 Eastwood Drive, died at 10 p.m. Friday in Culver Hospital. He was a wire drawer at Mid-States Steel & Wire Co. Mr. Peffley was a veteran of WWII. He was a member of Smartsburg Christian Church. He was educated in Ladoga schools. Born Dec 26, 1914 at Ladoga, he was a son of Paul H. and Letha Oliver Peffley. He was married to Mary Norman who survives. Also surviving are four brothers: Kenneth of Crawfordsville; Art of Ft. Wayne; Donald of Indianapolis and Paul of Tempe, Ariz. and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Powers Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Wachenschwanz officiating. Burial will be in Ladoga Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. - kbz
