Peevler - Marie Robinson

Mrs. Marie Peevler, a pioneer resident died at her home on Walnut Street, Crawfordsville, Indiana, Tuesday evening, November 20, 1934 aged 80 years 6 months and 19 days. Maria Robinson, daughter of Armilda and Louise (sic - Louis) Robinson was born at Fillmore, Ind, Putnam County, June 1, 1854. She came to Fountain County at age six and for the past 28 years has been a resident of Crawfordsville, Ind. In the year 1869 she was united in marriage to Joseph Peevler and to this union three children were born. Her husband met with a very tragic death in the year 1917. Mrs. Peevler was loved by her friends and neighbors and will be greatly missed in the community in which she lived. She leaves to mourn their loss, two daughters, Mrs. C.W. Hines of Waynetown and Mrs. Floyd Hedricks at home; one grandson, Harry McClure; three sisters, Mrs. Mildred Odell and Mrs. Wallace Shaffer of Veedersburg and Mrs. Elizabeth Terrell, of Georgetown Ill; also two brothers living, John Robinson of Veedersburg and Charles Robinson of Georgetown, Ill. Two brothers, Philander Robinson and Willard Robinson preceded her in death. All that loving hands could do was done to aid her in her illness but our Heavenly Father, who doeth all things well called her to her eternal home, where sorrow and suffering are not known. - kbz
