VEEDERSBURG-- John Peevler, 92-year-old retired farmer, died Wednesday at the Small Nursing Home in Waynetown, where he had lived the past three years. Born in the Veedersburg area Nov. 22, 1866, he was one of nine children of Jessie and Nancy Peevler. In 1890 he was married to Dora Clay, who preceded him in death. Survivors include two sons, Charles of Indianapolis and Rockey of Columbus, Ohio; three daughters, Mrs. Vessie Lightle of Veedersburg, Mrs. Minnie Potter of Danville, Ill., and Mrs. Grace Larson of Attica, and one sister, Mrs. Anna Smith of Mitchell. Three sons preceded their father in death. Friends may call after 4 p. m. Thursday at the Fishero Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday. Rev. Samuel Pritchard of the Veedersburg EUB Church will officiate and burial will be in Rockfield Cemetery. -- typed by Walt W
