Darlington - Wallace H. Peebles, 64, of Darlington died Saturday in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. He was a retired farmer. Mr. Peebles was a member of Gravelly Run Friends Church, Darlington Masonic Lodge and York Rite at Crawfordsville. He was a 1928 graduate of Darlington HS. Born May 7, 1910 in Montgomery County he was a son of Leroy and Hazel Lafollette Peebles. He was married to Naomi Reichard on Nov 4, 1934 at New Castle. Survivors include the widow; two sons, John of Darlington and David of Crawfordsville; two daughters, Mrs. Rex (Sandy ) Seipert of Darlington and Mrs. Royce (Peggy) Foster of Darlington; a brother, Lester of Darlington; two sisters, Mrs Keith (Lucille) Cox of Darlington and Mrs. Austin (Helen) White of LaGrange, Ill and 13 grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Burkhart Funeral Home, Darlington Chapel with Rev. Lorton Heusel and the Rev. George Boone officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery at Darlington. Masonic rites will be conducted at 8 o'clock this evening. Friends may call at the funeral home. - kbz
