William T. PECK, 81, farmer who has lived all of his life in Montgomery County, died Monday evening at his farm home, 7 miles East of Crawfordsville on State Road 32. He had been ill one year. Mr. Peck was born in Montgomery County and resided on a farm near here during his entire life time. He was born July 31, 1867 the son of Samuel C. Peck and America Logan Peck. He was the last of a family of six children. Mr. Peck was married Sept 25, 1892, to Emorine MARTIN also of Montgomery County. T he widow; one daughter, Mrs. Helen Hawthorne of Crawfordsville and one son, Walter M. Peck residing near Crawfordsville survive. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren and 3 greats. The grandchildren are Mrs. David Dice, Mrs. Lloyd Carter and Rose Marie Hawthorne, all of Crawfordsville. One son, Orville Peck, died in infancy. A granddaughter Martha McCluskey and one great granddaughter also preceded him in death. Mr. Peck was a member of the Church of Christ in Crawfordsville. Funeral services will be conducted at two o'clock Thursday afternoon at the family residence in charge of Rev. Earl Stephenson, with burial at Mace Cemetery. Friends may call at the home to pay their respects.
