Funeral services were conducted at the Hisey & Titus Mortuary in Indianapolis Tuesday morning for Mrs. Margaret a. Peavey, 86, sister of Miss Hattie L. Pursel, 808 . Main, Crawfordsville. Mrs. Peavey died Saturday at the home of a son, George P. Peavey, 2948 N. Talbot Ave, Indianapolis. Mrs. Peavey was the widow of Elmer A. Peavey, Indianapolis building specialist. A native of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Peavey had resided in Indianapolis the past 34 years. She was a member of Broadway Methodist Church, Indianapolis. Survivors in addition to the sister Miss Pursel in Crawfordsville and the son at whose home she died include another son, JA Peavey of Indianapolis; two grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Miss Pursel accompanied by Mrs. David A. Groves, Mrs. Clark D. Jones, Mrs. Ray D. Hungate and Aquilla W. Groves were in Indianapolis to attend the funeral. Mrs. Peavey's mother and the mother of Mrs. Hungate were sisters. Their mother, Mrs. John Pursel was a native of England. Her husband was for many years a carriage maker in Crawfordsville. - kbz
