MELLOTT — Richard Leon Pearson, who was reared in the Wingate-Mellott area, died suddenly at his home in Waveland, Miss., after suffering a heart attack. Mr. Pearson, 49, is survived by an aunt, Mrs. John Ferris, of Mellott. Born in Wingate on March 29, 1920, he was the son of Jesse and Alberta Pearson. Other survivors include the widow and four children, a sister, Mrs. Lois Williams of Otterbein, and a brother, Fred, of Louisville. Services are pending.

MELLOTT, Ind. (CNS) — Mrs. John Ferris of Mellott has received word that her nephew, Richard Leon Pearson, 49, of Waveland, Miss., died unexpectedly Monday (June 9, 1969) at his home. Born March 29, 1920 in Wingate, he was the son of Jesse and Alberta Pearson. He is survived by his widow; four children; a sister, Mrs. Lois Williams of Otterbein, and a brother, Fred of Louisville, Ky. Arrangements are incomplete.
