George Pearson died at his home in this city at 6 o'clock on Tuesday morning, February 24, 1885, aged seventy-five years. Mr. Pearson was one of Crawfordsville's oldest citizens, having located here fifty-five years ago. He was a quiet, unassuming man, a tailor by profession and in every respect an exemplary man. The funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Sanford Smith, at the home residence, corner Walnut and Jefferson street, at 2 o'clock this afternoon. – thanks so much to Kim H
