Miss Melissa Jane Pearcy died Tuesday at 7 a.m. at her home in Crawfordsville. The daughter of Sam and Martha McCorkle Pearcy she was born in Bainbridge. A former employee of WH Block Department store in Indiana she was a member of the Christian Science Church at Boston, Ind and former member of the Order of Eastern Star at Roachdale. She is survived by two sisters, Miss Mary Pearcy and Dr. Lynne Pearcy both of Crawfordsville; two brothers, Frank Pearcy and George Pearcy both of Hollywood, a nephew and niece. Friends may call at the Chastain Funeral Home Roachdale where services will be held Thursday at 1:30 burial in Roachdale cemetery.
