Clyde F. Peters, 83, of 317 Sylvia St., W.L., died at 11:50 a.m. Monday in St. Elizabeth Hospital where he was admitted at 9 a.m. from Lafayette Care Inc. He had been ill 15 years. Born at St. Joseph, Ill., Mr. Peters was reared at Kirkpatrick, Ind. Before moving to West Lafayette in 1946, he lived at Cleveland, Ohio, where he owned Euclid Avenue Wholesale Tire Co. for a number of years. After moving here he worked in maintenance at First Federal Savings and Loan Association. He was married Aug. 27, 1913, at St. Joseph, Ill., to Grayce L. Johnson, who survives. He was a member of Linden-Kirkpatrick United Methodist Church. The widow is the only immediate survivor. – jlr
