EMMETT PERKINS

Emmett E. Perkins, assistant boys' dept. buyer to H.P. Wasson Company died Thursday at his home, 363602 Watson Road, Indianapolis.

Mr. Perkins was born in Mectalf County, Kentucky and had lived in Indianapolis the last 45 years.  For several years, he was a storekeeper at Milligan and resided in Waveland for a time.  

He was a member of the Third Christian Church and Scottish Rite in Indianapolis and Past  Master of the Waveland Masonic Lodge.

Immediate survivors are the widow, Mrs. Estella Perkins, a daughter, Mrs. E.K. Stucky of Indianapolis and two grandsons, Rodger and Phillip Perkins ofElkhart.

Funeral was conducted from the Flanner Buchanan Funeral Home with burial in the Washington Park Cemetery, Indianapolis.

Mr. Perkins was an uncle to William Sharpe of this place.  -- typed by kbz
