ROCKVILLE---Mrs. Lydia Pefley died Tuesday at 10:30 p.m. at her home in Rockville. She was 88 years old. She was born May 23, 1868 in Parke County, the daughter of Samuel and Sarah Napper Coombs. She was a member of the Friendly Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Ray Pefley of Rockville and Earl Pefley of Rt. 1, Rosedale; five daughters, Mrs. Dora Overpeck, Mrs. Clee Miller and Mrs. Thelma Bradfield all of Rockville, Mrs. Opal Vandivier of near Montezuma, and Miss Doris Pefley of Terre Haute; 11 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. The body was taken to Branson Funeral Home in Rockville where friends may call. Funeral services will be at the funeral home Friday at 2 p.m., Rev. W. H. Coonoe officiating. Burial will be in Clear Run Cemetery at Bridgeton.
