Paxton - Frances Merion

Frances Merion Paxton, son of John and Hulda Paxton, living near Campbell’s Chapel, died Saturday, June 26, aged sixteen years, eleven months and seventeen days. He was a good boy and bore his sickness without complaining, his disease being consumption. He was confined to the house only four short weeks.  He leaves a mother and father and two brothers, to mourn his loss. The funeral was held at Young’s Chapel Sunday at 3 o’clock, interment at the Tapp Cemetery. They have the sympathy of the community. The pall bearers were Howard Gillis, Pony Beckner, Owen Evans, Arch Jackman, Harry Petro, and Harry Baston. Rev. Rayle, of Darlington, conducted the funeral. -s
