Patton - Martha Smith

Following a sudden attack of convulsions Wednesday morning, Mrs. Martha E. Patton, wife of George T. Patton, died in the afternoon at 3 o’clock at her home at Round Hill. Her death was due to uremic poisoning. Mrs. Patton was aged 38 years, 7 months 21 days. The husband and six small children survive her. She also leaves a brother, Joseph Smith of this city, and two sisters, Mrs. Ellis Burk of this city and Mrs. William Blue of Linde. Funeral services at Round Hill Church of which she was a member, Friday morning at 9 o’clock. - kbz
