Crawfordsville, Ind June 17 – Howard Patton, 73 years old, president of the Linden State Bank died yesterday of heart seizure at his home in Linden. Born near Yountsville, southwest of here, Mr. Patton spent most of his life in Linden where he was active in church and civic affairs. He was a member of the Linden Methodist Church and M of P Lodge. Survivors include the widow; a son, Clarence Patton, Shelbyville; three daughters, Mrs. Joe Radcliff, Romney; Mrs. Doris Eggers, Crawfordsville and Mrs. Wesley White, Linden and three brothers, Charles Patton, White Face, Mont; Hurley Patton, Los Angeles and Frank Patton, Dallas, Tex. Funeral services and burial will be at Linden Saturday afternoon. - kz

Linden, June 17 - Howard A. Patton, 74, president of the Linden State Bank, died shortly after noon Thursday at his home of a heart attack. Born near Yountsville in 1875, he married Laura M. Smith in 1896. He was a member of the Linden Methodist Church and Knights of Pythias Lodge at Waynetown and was a lifelong resident of Montgomery County. Surviving besides the widow are three daughters, Mrs. Joe Ratcliff of Romney; Mrs. Dorris Eggers of Crawfordsville; Mrs. Wesley White, Linden; a son, Clarence, Shelbyville and and three brothers, Charles White, Face, Mont; Hurley, Los Angeles, Cal and Frank of Dallas, Tex. - kz
