Edgar Patton, 89, Bloomingdale, died Tuesday morning (June 11, 2002) in his residence. Mr. Patton was a retired farmer, a Navy Veteran of WWII and member of Waterman Baptist Church, Lodi. He was born October 30, 1912 at Naomi, Ky. to William and Myrtie Tarter Patton. He married Geneva Vale on Feb 12, 1932. She d. Oct 5, 1994. Survivors include a son, Bob, Tangier, two daughters, Kathy Wade, Bloomingdale, and Pat Bush, Kingman; a sister, Grace Parker, Eaton; 33 grandchildren 60 great grandchildren and 24 great great grandchildren. A son, Paul Edward, two daugthers, Shirley Newnum and Nancy Miller; a grandson; and three great grandchildren are deceased. Funeral services are scheduled 3 p.m. Friday at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 Howard St, Rockville, with the Rev. William L. Lehman offic. Burial will be in Bloomingdale Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Thursday and before services Friday in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Waterman Baptist Church. - kbz
