Charles Edward Patton, 42, of Frankfort died Monday at Home Hospital, Lafayette. He had been seriously ill 2 months. He was born May 25, 1924 at New Richmond to James T. and Mildred M. Patton. He was preceded in death by his father in Sept 1931. He married Mary Thompson in August 1947. The survivors include his mother, the widow; two sons, Bernard stationed with US Army in Tacoma, Wash and Charles Jr; two daughters, Mrs. Judith Robinson of Frankfort and Connie Sue; a grandson and a brother, William T. Patton of Crawfordsville. He graduated from Waynetown HS in 1943 and served in the US Navy during WWII. Funeral services are incomplete but services will be held Eller Funeral Home in Frankfort.
