NEW RICHMOND-- Mrs. Anna Patton, 79, died at 2:35 a.m. Thursday in Westbrook Nursing Home at Crawfordsville. She had been a patient at the nursing home since Nov. 26. Mrs. Patton taught school several years at Jackson Township and Randolph Township. She had lived in New Richmond community since 1911. She was born July 10, 1879, in Jackson Township, a daughter of William C. and Cemantha Arnett Davisson. She married John D. Patton in 1930 at New Richmond. He died in 1940. Mrs. Patton was a member of New Richmond Methodist Church and Pythian Sisters. Surviving are three brothers, W. M. Davison and R. B. Davisson, both of West Lafayette and Dr. B. S. Davisson of Indianapolis; seven nephews and two nieces. She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Russell E. Brown Funeral Home at Linden. The body will be taken to Indianapolis for cremation. The ashes will be buried in New Richmond Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2:30 p.m. Friday.
