Following a stroke of paralysis suffered at noon Monday, Loren G. Pattison, 72 years old, a resident of Crawfordsville for many years and one of the best known citizens, died Monday evening. Funeral services will be held from Trinity M.E. Church on Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Mr. Pattison has led a retired life for the past several years following successful business activities for a number of years. He was a member of the firm of Ramsey & Pattison carriage builders for a long period and later was engaged in the blacksmith business. During the Civil War he enlisted and saw active service in the conflict as a member of the Company E of the 135th Indiana volunteer regiment. He was a member of McPherson Post, GAR.
