Patterson - Kenneth
Source: Crawfordsville Review 2 March 1920
Linnsburg-Mace news – Gloom spread rapidly over the community Sunday evening when it became known of Kenneth Patterson’s death. Kenneth was a school boy and very popular among his teachers and friends because of his congenial disposition and when a few weeks ago he took sick with the flu his friends little dreamed of such fatal results, but pneumonia developed and it was necessary to operate and tap the lungs, so he was prepared for a journey to Indianapolis where the work might be done more successfully but when they arrived at the Linnsburg car line the nurse observed that they had made preparations for the wrong journey so she, with her little suffering patient returned to his home where in a few hours he died. Kenneth will be greatly missed at school as well as at home. The sympathy of the entire community is extended the bereaved family. – kbz
